Snow isn't exactly common in the Las Vegas area. In fact, some people think it never snows in Vegas. This page is dedicated to those people. The pictures were taken Dec. 6, 1998. Click on any of the small images below to see a larger version.

If you are interested, all the photos were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 900s. In order to make the page much faster loading, the image size has been reduced considerably, and compression was increased. The full images take a long time to load, but are striking. If you are interested in seeing the full size images, drop us a note. If enough people request it, we will make the full resolution pictures available on a separate page.
